Run your instance in any Google Cloud region

Clonext runs on Google Cloud, edge included — one global load balancer with Cloud Armor in front — and because every client is an isolated instance, where it runs is a per-client decision. EU hosting by default; any Google Cloud region on request, the US included.

Isolation makes placement a feature

On a multi-tenant platform, everyone lives where the vendor lives. An instance of one can be placed deliberately: your database, your application pool and your backups are exclusively yours, so they can sit in the region that fits your users and your regulators — not in whatever region was convenient for someone else.

On an instance of one, geography is a setting, not a constraint.

EU by default, anywhere on request

  • EU hosting as the default — clear data residency for European clients.
  • Any Google Cloud region on request — the US, the Americas, Asia-Pacific: wherever your users are.
  • Google's global edge either way — anycast load balancing with Cloud Armor in front — so the application stays fast and protected worldwide.
  • Encryption at rest and in transit, on every instance, in every region.

Data residency, answered

For many clients — and their lawyers — "where is our data?" needs a precise answer. Here it is one sentence long: your instance, its database and its backups live in the region we agreed, and nowhere else.

What this means for you

Tell us where your users are and what your compliance needs look like, and we place the instance accordingly. Everything else — domain, TLS, monitoring, backups — is configured for that region the same way, managed end to end.

The edge in front of every region is Google's own — the full picture is in The Google edge, explained.
